Our History

Although the ACC name has only been around since the year 2000, it has a rich history dating back to the 1950's. Five companies were brought together to form the present day ACC. Below is a brief description of each of their construction expertise.

West Coast Bridge

Founded in 1986, West Coast Bridge has a strong history in seismic bridge retrofitting and tunnel and tub rehabilitation in Northern California.

Randall & Blake, Inc.

Founded in 1975, Randall and Blake is known for landscape construction, maintenance, heavy and highway construction, wetland mitigation, erosion control, sport field and track construction and golf course construction.

Hurlen Construction Company

Established in 1970, Hurlen Construction's primary business is providing specialized marine and upland foundation work. Hurlen's marine capabilities include piers, wharves, floats, marinas, pile driving, dredge work, bridges, outfalls and dock restoration.

Pavement Specialists, Inc.

In business since the 1950's, Pavement Specialists provides diversified pavement services including profile grinding, grooving, sawing and sealing and other pavement rehabilitation related services.

Contra Costa Landscaping, Inc.

Formed in 1970, Contra Costa Landscaping is best known for its landscape construction, maintenance and hydro-seeding in Northern California.
